Is it normal for my gerbil to eat the Chincilla sand bath? I went out and got some this evening and one of my gerbs is eating the stuff.

None of mine have ever ate it.

Yes, i have had so many of my gerbils eat it. No worries though, non have gotten sick.
Some of mine would eat it before they knew what it was actually for. They ate less (or none at all) when they figured out how to roll and play in it.
