Wat are the differences in character and behaviour betweem a male and a female hamster?

I heard that male hamsters are more tame and easier to handle. Is that true?

So far, I've not noticed any difference in character & behaviour b/w my male & female hamsters. Hence, I think it's a fallacy to say male hamsters r easier to tame/handle as compared to females.

I read in a book that males are more dosile and sleep more while females like to keep everything organized and tidy, e.g. making their bed more often.
