looking for a cute pet

Do you know anything about sugar gliders, or are you just looking for a "cute pet"?? Don't just want it because they are "cute" I would suggest doing research about them and making sure they are the pet for you, they take a lot of time !! Also they are illegal in Cali.....but please for the sake of sugar gliders, do your research because there are soooo many people out there who just buy them because they are "cute" or "cool" animals, and then in a month or two they end up homeless. My friend has a sugar glider rescue in Texas, and she gets 10 or more a week sometimes, and the main reason was beacuse they no longer had time for it, or they couldn't stand the sharp nails diggin in their skin all the time, or sometimes with males the owners get tired of being "marked", males tend to mark their territory on their owners. Most just couldn't stand all the attention they need. So what made you decide on a sugar glider??
