How to keep Ham from oily coat and smell

I've tried using chincilla dust but not effective. So i add some baby johnson powder to the dust and the effect is fantastic.

Just a small experiment.

Hello tinytok,

My hamster bath in her chinchilla dust. Though her coat is not that oily, but she still smells. I change her bedding and clean her cage/tank very often.

Will the baby johnson baby cause any harm to the hamsters? As i know, hamsters constantly clean themselves by licking. Will licking the powder cause any danger/harm?

I'm not sure about that, but power are dissolvable.

So far not effect on health yet. Try at your own risk
