Hi!

Here are pictures of my dwarf hamsters... they are campbells... here they are:

This is Afrodita... an albino...

This is Apollo... a mottled argente

http://img29.photobucket.com/albums/v88/padfoot82/Hamsters/Atenea_01.jpg

This is Atenea... a mottled normal... she's the smallest of the three (in size.. not age...) and the dominant of the three... if she's on a bad mood she'll bully the others around the cage...

Yesterday 2 of the babies escaped the nest and before Atenea could pick them up and hide them I was able to snap a few pictures...

This is the runt... he died today 8( he was really skinny and his head looked enormous in comparison to his body...

This is another of the babies...

This is the same baby trying to eat a yogurt drop... they are a 1 1/2 weeks old... The last baby is completely white with the dark line in his back.... I can't figure out the colors of these babies... but the one that died... I think it was a normal mottled like his mother...

That's all...

Great photos! It is really hard to get a good one of whites with a flash as they often get too burned out and bright.

I lost a runt hamster once. There really isn't much we can do for them. :(

I have an albino dwarf too, and a mottled, and another. I posted pictures here a while ago.

I have three dwarves, plus the two babies. I don't know If I'll keep them or not... since I've got a list of people wanting them and I hoped more would have survived... (it was a litter of about 6, but the day after they were born, only three were left... and the runt died today... Atenea is not a good mother and Afrodita looked more after them than Atenea...

You know what is harder than get te pictures of the whote ones? getting the pictures of the white ones with a nosy dog sticking his head in the middle. His nose was in all the pictures that I took, but I cut it out. here is a proof of what I'm saying:

Look at his nose on the top left corner of the picture... lol

I've had the hamsters and gerbils before Odie and Odie was here since he was a week old, so he's kinda used of having them around. He's a bit afraid of the gerbils cause they run fast and jump a lot, so I keep the gerbils away from him, but he likes to sniff the hamsters. I usually take them out and let them play in my bed, and Odie sits there looking at them and sniffing them.

Awww how cute! LoL, my dog would be doing the same thing, trying to get in the picture! I took Snoopi out of her cage and Molly came in and after sniffing her for a while, she licked Snoopi! Snoopi of course, went and bit Molly's face.
