will 3 mths plus male robo hamsters breed with 6 mths female ones

I had jsut bought a male robo hamster to keep my female one company. initially they fought, but after a while, i saw them sleeping in close proximity. guess tyhey arre used to the company and less conscious abt their territoiry http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif My questions:

Q1) Will 3 mths plus male robo mate with 6 mths plus female robo?

Q2) Is it advisable to keep them together?

Q3) Is i advisable to breed robo hamsters?

Q4) What are the thoingd tyo observe or do to breed my pair of robo?

Hi Sunny,

First off, if they are male and female they will breed sooner or later. So there's no worries there.

Q2) If they don't fight its ok to keep them together.

Q3) Whether its advisable, depends if u're ready to look after the babies and if u have to keep all of them or look for adopters. It's more of a family planning kind of thing.

Q4) Things to observed. Nothing really, just don't expect too much. Some robos just refuses to reproduce whereas others reproduce non-stop. When u do have a litter. Feed them well, its the same as any other hamsters. Feed the mother with good food, tofu, milk powder, wheatgerm, etc... and when the babies are ready to take solid food, additional portions for them, some wet foods like sliced apples cubes, cumcumbers, french beans, cabbages, etc...
