when is too old?

if I waited 4 months to introduce babies to my trio would the (now) babies be too old to accept them?
The adult would be 2 and the others about 6 months.. is that too old and would they have become too territorial although I will be introducing them all into a bigger neutral territory..

Just wondering, why would you be waiting that long? Usually, the younger the pups are (as long as they're old enough to be weaned, of course) the easier it is to introduce them. But, if you have the time and patience to do a split cage with them, there's a good chance they'll be fine at any age. You're right, neutral territory is a big help, just be careful.

i'll be going on holidays, and my family has enough to mind without watching out for fights or signs of tension, i'd feel better about it if I was there to monitor them myself :)
