Hamster health question?

Hi. my son got a hamster from my Mom last October. This is his first hamster and mine (son is only 6, so I take care of it). Anyway, my question is: is it normal for the hamsters bottom area, to put it nicely, to be enlarged at times? Or is it something to be concerned about? Please help! Thanks! Tammy:flower:

I had a female hamster first of all,then two males after her,yes they are very well endowed!lol.
