First, what hamsters are you keeping? Some hamsters, even dwarfs will not appriciate the company of anyone else including the father in the tank. How much they welcome others in their tank is very much on the individual.

You said the hamster babies are all dead. Did you notice any wounds on them? If this is so, it's almost a sure sign the mother felt unsafe and bite them.

This has happened to me before too, but there weren't any wounds, no idea why so the whole lot was dead at the same time.

Regards.

I can't explain why the baby hamsters died but I can offer my condolences to you on your loss.

Viel,

Pebblepoo is just answering the question that was asked to the forum. She knows what may of happened and was merely suggesting to her what may of gone wrong.

It's wrong to tell someone off for answering a question what was asked of them.

veil you are being quite arrogant and rude, what is your issue first you insult someone for merely answering a question and then you namecall as if you were a foolish child. Perhaps this place is a bit too "grown-up" for you. :dodgy:

Viel, you have no reason to go at her like that for answering a question. Thats childish and rude.

You said that you keep the hamsters together? That's why. You should take out the males (the adults not the babies) and seperate them because the fathers and the males will kill the babies.

You acted very rude for telling her off when you are the one who posted the question and were asking for help. She was only helping you and if you are going to act that way then I suggest that you leave this place and go where you can be with other 5 year olds.
