Poop, poop, everywhere!

It seems Spot-tina has recovered from the wet tail but now she poops in her "home"...only the harder poop. She still pees and has slight runny poop in the upper part of her cage (we call it the potty room) Is this normal for hammies to poop in their own homes?
I have been cleaning it out every night and putting a little piece in the potty room to try to get her to go there for all of it. She did when we first brought her home, but then she became so sick.

Hi Maeve,

I think it is normal for hamsters to pee and poo in their homes. My hamster always does that and she makes me clean her cage daily. It is almost like a hill of poo. LOL.

Perhaps, your hamster isn't feeling so good yet and is on the process of recovering. Do give your hamster some time and soon, poo in her potty room again.
