What happens if you have more females than males?

I heard that if there are more male than female hamsters kept together, they will fight when comes to mating time. But what if
I keep two female dwarf hamsters with only one male, will there be fights too? Hope to hear from anyone who have tried it. THX.

Roborovskii ! Cottonball is my little darling. I know someone who is giving her hamsters up. Both of them are females. Wonder if I can keep the two with mine.
