Too start he/she (I can't tell if it is a boy or girl yet) always licks me it is cute and it tickles I love it, but what does it mean? I really glad tough whatever it means it doesn't get so in to it, it decides to bite me :LOL: It is a dwarf by the way, and one of the best in the world I'm sure!! It is SUPER cute, grey with a white belly, white fur on paws and a tip of white on its tail! Not only is it cute it trust me really well never has bit maybe never will! great personality too. It likes to sleep in my hand :) Sorry for bragging, :blush: I just love it sooooooo much and it is my first dwarf, let alone my first hamster in a loooooong time.

The next question is how old will it be when I will be able to tell the gender?

Also tell me about YOUR hamster! I'd love hearing it almost as much as I love bragging about my own! :LOL:

Hi, I have dwarf hamsters also. Recently my oldest on named Cujo died of old age, she was two years old(she's my only dwarf that ever bit me, I think she was a little crazy though!) Do you have a way of posting pictures, because if you do, I could tell you what sex your hamster is. How old is it? I'll also go find a link for you so you can try to sex it yourself

I think it is a girl, I know how to tell it is just hard for anyone because she is still kinda young.

Aww I think licking is a good thing! A lot better than biting, lol! My first hamster Snickers would lick me all the time, and whenever I held him he would fall asleep in my arms or on my stomach. He was very relaxed when I would hold him. I miss the little guy soooo much, it's almost been two years. :(

Awww lol sounds really cute! I miss having a male hamster, they seem to like me more, lol.

It was hard losing Snickers, but my best friend cried with me because she knew how hard it was, as she also had a hamster and couldn't imagine losing one. My mom I think was confused, because she had to tell me he died and I know that must have been difficult for her. But I buried him in a nice spot. :)
