How do you tell if your hamster is pregnant?

By the name "dwarfundefined" I'm gonna assume you got a dwarf hamster. A dwarf hamster typically don't show until maybe a couple of days before delivery as opposed to a Syrian who shows on or about day 9 or 10 of an approximately 16 day gestation period. Anyway if you examine your dwarf hamster you will see her nipples are more noticeable and this occurs fairly early on in the pregnancy. She also could become more aggressive and you will probably see her building a bigger than usual nest. Don't forget to add extra protein to her diet such as a piece of an egg or bread soaked in low fat milk. Also feed her extra protein during the 3 weeks she will be nursing the pups. And remove an uneaten portion as soon as possible when she's done with it because you don't want it to spoil in the tank/cage.

But she is only around 7 weeks old, can she still be pregnant? All the signs I have noticed except one her nipples are not very clear but I can still see them some of the time.

Oh man and I thought "dwarfundefined" was the name. Makes a pretty cool name huh? Anyway yeah absolutely the female can be pregnant at 7 weeks.
