Wire Cage Modification

Has anyone found a way to modify a traditional wire cage with tubes into other cages?

I wonder if there is a way to cut the wires and incorporate a tube.. .but then how could you attach it firmly...

I wish I would have seen this post before I posted my thread about the same exact thing.

I searched around online for modifications like what you're talking about. I couldnt find anything, so I eventually ended up rigging my own.
