I am from Wisconsin, located in the Lake Mills area. I have one male joey that should be ready for a new home in about a month, give or take a week or so.

I have heard several different stories about glider keepers needing USDA licenses - is this true? I live in Gleason, WI and I cannot find any law that states such - do you know? Do you have a USDA license?

Thanks!

we don't need one in wisconsin . i am looking at getting one soon . And have been looking all this up . There are no laws stating that we need a license.

No matter where you are in the US, you need a USDA license if you have more than 3 breeding pairs of gliders.

So as long as I live in Wisconsin and only have one or two gliders, I will not need any type of permits or licenses?
Thank you in advance,

I am interested in a female sugar glider. Are yours tame? What diet do you feed yours?
