Photos. Central Park Critters in NYC.

Since late April I have been really busy getting out during this flowering blooming season; took tons of photos. Here are several from the Central Park Zoo in NYC.

Lily, the pot-bellied pig. I asked about her as she was moving slowly, and they told me she was getting on, and had been rather depressed since her mate died over a year ago. she has really bristly hair.

There is a zoo at Central Park?! You know how to get there by subway??

There has always been a zoo in Central Park; there is also a smaller one in Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

They used to be an old style zoos with lots of cages, but now they are nicer nature center-type places.

It is within walking distance from the subway.

Ahh... hehe I don't hang around in Brooklyn at all, usually just go to BayRidge. I thought there were only Bronx zoo and Queens zoo lol I will surely check out the central park zoo
