Does anyone have pet insurance? Well I decided to invest in two policies for the dogs. The vet bills are becoming to much and for 50.00/MO the policy covers 4500/illness and/or injury/visit and 14000/policy year. This includes all vaccinations, dianostics, treatments, surgerys, prescr iptions. I love my dogs, but dont want to go broke either. I Have a pit that is white and she seems to have bad allergies and god knows what else will be wrong with her in the near future.

TAKE CARE ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have VPI on my dogs through my work and so far I love it. I pay nothing though, so that's nice. :D

Well I just signed up for VPI and I hope that the police(s) pay off. I am still waiting for the 14 day period before the policy is effective. Unfortuately my dog got into something, so that I had to eat the emergency vet bill. Well if I get through the next week I will be grateful and less financialy stressed from the vet bills when they come up. I also got the routine vaccination and presciption coverage as well. So I hope that it pays off

They're awful, you'll end up spending more on the policies and vet bills than you'll get back out of the insurance. Read my post about them in one of the other threads...

its probaly better to have insurance, so you can give ur dogs /cats the best possible if they get ill without paying out as much.

This is sounding good seeing as I am getting a new puppy in about a month.

Does anyone who is best to be insured under? I think getting my cats, bird, and hamster insured might be good, too.

Thanks in advance!
