my parakeet which we've had 2 years seems to want to keep his eyes closed almost all of the time. he can still open them up, but he seems to keep them closed all the time. he also stays on the lower levels of the cageand even the bottom of the cage at times. i worry that he has soem sort of infection. the birds were gifts and we don't know a lot about caring for them when they are ill. any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
