I have recently constructed a Model Rocket with a payload bay large enough for a hampster. I know it will survive the way down with a parachute, but will the lateral G's at takeoff be too much for him? Any ideas, let me know, launch is in 4 days

no way, the niose, the movement and the amount of space, definatly do NOT put your hamster in the rocket. ( small animals react badly to loud noises, it can definatly make him lose his hearing), all of this is enough to make any small animal extremely sick.

I'm sorry if I come across as rude, but I hope you don't have any pets. Anyone who would want to put a hamster into a rocket must have been dropped on the head as a child.
