really sick..what should i do?

my hamster hasn't take a step outta its hiding place for the whole day, recently it always makes a screeching sound, just by itself. is it coughing? i bought a vitamin to be added to the water, but it's been two days and it still acts like that...what should i do?

please help...

It would be near imposible for someone on the internet to tell you what is wrong with your hamster with the information you have listed. Sometimes even hamsters have an off day. It may be that he was up all night playing and just wanted to sleep. Have you noticed anything else?Is he eating well, is his potty normal? You may want to take him to a vet if you are worried about him.

I too agree. If your hamster doesn't act normal in the next day or two you should take it to the vet. Best of luck to you and your hamster. Let us know what happens!

What are you feeding your hamster? There could be a chance it is allergic to something you are giving it or the bedding. Hamsters usually squek for attention.
