African Spiney Mice

Was wondering if anyone knew of any sites on Spiney Mice? I can't seem to find much out there.. Any help would be appreciated..

Here's a Finnish site on spinies. They also have fancy mice, and zebra mice. Good site. Really nice genetics section.... at least for the fancies.

Middle East, North Africa.
Habitat
Dry, rocky areas, sandy valleys, crevices of termite hills.

Diet
Seeds, plants.

Reproduction
Three young.

Social Structure
Active by day, unlike most desert rodents. A female will help others giving birth; she may nurse or adopt another's young.

i saw on the pet guys taht you shouldent give them a all seed diet because it will make tem fat and tehy get fat very easily. also geive them fruit and veggies everyday and a little bit of ground meast and meal wors every now and then.
