PLEASE HELP ME...!! I'VE BEEN TRYING MY HARDEST!!a week ago today my neighbor's dog had found 5 baby bunnies. My neighbor gave them to me because she knew that i take care of different kinds of animals. Well, 2 of the babies were already dead, and one had an injured/ bleeding ankle, the other didn't really move, and one with a bloody ear which i think is the runt.
i took them in, got a heating pad and i put in on one side of the box then covering the heating pad i put a small towel over it. Then the next day later i went to the MSPCA to get advice... the lady said it was better off for them to die outside all alone in the cold!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HER!!! I WAS SO UPSET!!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!! ONLY COLD HEARTED PEOPLE DO THAT!!!!
so anyways i got more advice at seaworld pet center, the lady was sooo nice and told me how to take care of them - with milk and how to feed them with the siringe, to get them stimulated, etc.
ALL of them died exept for the runt.....BUT NOW HIS EYES ARE OPEN! DO I STILL FEED HIM THE KITTEN MILK REPLACER???? OR DO I START FEEDING HIM GRASS, HAY, AND GIVE HIM WATER??? I REALLY NEED HELP!!

Are those wild rabbit? (dark brown fur with one or two lil white spot on forehead)

What the SPCA said sound kind of inhuman to us... but... wild aniaml is not meant to be indoor pet. They born, live, die... all in the wild, this is the nature. However, instead of SPCA, I would try to contact a Wildlife Rehabilitator. I'm sure they know what to do with it. They might be able to save that little thing and release it back to the wild later on.

How to locate a Wildlife Rehabilitator (http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.htm)

A bit hard to tell how old it is. For regular pet rabbit, I would feed them kitten replacer milk till they are at least 4 weeks old.

we've tried to contact them, but they're not located around where we live. We talked to the people who work at the MSPCA and the animal control center but they just say let it live outside. But i know it will die all alone out there and obviously it's mother won't come back to it. we just can't let it die outside all alone for no one to care for it. :dodgy: We have also talked to our vet but they said that we should just take care of him inside our house.

well, we rn't too sure how old he is. He just opened his eyes about 4 days ago. So do i still feed him the KRM ?

Ok. Baby bunnies that I got before with eyes just opened were around 3 weeks old. So I would still keep feeding the KRM for at least a week, meanwhile start to introduce small amount of alfalfa hay and pellet. During 4 wks - 7 wks old of age, keep feeding it with KRM still, along with free acess to alfalfa hay and pellet.

I hope things will work out for this little guy :)

maybe you should aslo do a search on what wild rabbits in your area eat?

Also you may want to offer it water in a heavy bowl when it's time, instead of a bottle.
