Sick Swaying Mouse

for about a week now, my mouse has been swaying side to side when he walks. he doe not like to move much. when he walks for only a short time, he stops then puts his head down. also, he is weak and does not have a good grip on anything. there are three other mice (in a dif. cage) same age as he and they are fine. what is wrong with him? please help me. i don't know what to do http://petshub.com/ubb/frown.gif...

I do not keep mice, but i do have hamsters.

I think your little mice could be the runt of the litter, that's why it is so weak.

Can it eat by itself now?

Oh, i forgot to mention, he's over half year old

I had a mouse who was 1 and a half years old and very healthy suddenly start to wobble and lose his balance when he walked. I was worried too. A couple days later he passed on. I hope this doesn't happen to your pet but I thought you should know its a possibility.

Sorry to hear about your mouse. Fourtnately, my mouse has been getting better. Most of his strength returned, however he doesn't want to be with the other mice.
