At the Petsmart today I saw a couple of hairless hamsters, they were the cutest things imaginable, I'm not getting another pet right now, but for the future: does anyone here have one? Are there any special needs they have? Any bedding you can't use (besides the obvious cedar)? Are they at risk for any diseases, more than other hamsters?

I assume they are merely more prone to chills. I have seen hairless mice too.

You should post a question about rats in the section for rats, not as a reply to someone's question about hamsters.
