hartz???

is hartz hamster/gerbil food okay for a dwarf hamster to eat???? cuz i found out that there is a little store in my town that sells it for 2.99 a bag. and the bag is really big. thanks for your help. i hope i'm lucky and can buy it!!!!!!!

I would check the ingredients. See what food is listed first, and find out if it is good for them or not. If the first 3 or 4 ingredients aren't the greatest, then I wouldn't use it. I know sunflower seeds would be one bad ingredient, but I don't know any others. I know corn isn't very good for some animals, but I'm not sure about hamsters.
