Morning the loss of peirre

My little buddy peirre died last night i will always miss him. I only had him for a little over a week but boy was it a good week he was so cute and smart. He died of wet tail I will get another hammy and name him peirre jr. :rolleyes: to honor him :( I will miss him. :( :cry:

aw no! i'm sorry :( i've never had a rodent with wet tail and i consider myself lucky.. was he really young too? :(
awww well hopefully your new hamster will be healthier and live a longer life.

My favorite (and most recent) hamster, Scratchy also died of wet tail. My parents are medical doctors, (vet was very far) and they could do nothing to save her. But i recommend you read up that link on this site about pet losses, it made me feel better.
I agree with you, wet tail is evil, but at least you have another hammie to look forward to, and you didnt know the last one too long to get a real serious attachment. Cheers to Pierre
