:confused: I have a nest out in my flower pot. Its about 3-5 ft. off the ground. We already know for sure that it is a Wren, but I haven't seen he/she came back to her nest since yesterday. Today I went out to check on it, and there was 1 egg. Its base color was white but then the rest of it was dotted with red. I was wondering if they laid their eggs in intervals, just like the chicks hatch. The egg was cold, which probably meant that the momm hadnt been back in awhile. Since I already know that birds dont have a keen sense of smel, it wouldnt have been that I touched it. Could somone please help me figure out why there is only one egg and the mommy hasnt came back since yesterday?
