I got a new cat.HELP!!!!!!!!!

I got a new cat from one of my cousins it used to play inside his house(her mother and father were inmy cousins house too)and it is still small in size BUT when i got it home it kept inspecting it and then sat doing nothing although in my cousins house it didn't stop jumping and playing and so..........!!!she has been in my hiouse for 1 hour now.what can i do to let it get in the mood it used to be in b4??????????

You have just moved the cat and there is the possibility it just has to get used to it's new environment.

If all else fails, get one of those laser lights, cats can't resist them, just be verrrry careful not to get it in their eyes, It can cause blindness.

I say just give it time. And keep us posted.

Hello,

The cat is stressed and isn't used to the new envoirnment. You will need to be patient with it and keep it company often. Talk and stroke the cat often. Make it feel safe at home. If possible, have a cat bed for it at a quiet corner.

It will really take time for the cat to get used to the house and family. Some cats are really fast adapters, while some get really home-sick.
If you spend enough time with the new cat, it will sure help the cat adapt much faster, than leaving it alone.
