:hamster1: :hamster2:Alright it was a couple of nights ago at around 2 in the morning.earlier that day i had seperated my two hamsters into brand new cages and had set them on my dresser beside of my top bunk.I mysteriously awoke to see a small dark shadow beside me. I jumped back in suprise.i grabbed the uncracked glow stick beside of me to see what it was. When the glow stick illuminated the area i saw that it was my brothers hamster smokey.I then saw that her cage door was opened when i specificly remember closing her door and it being tight.I have no clue on how or why i awoke a that time of night but i just feel lucky that i did.:hamster1: :hamster2:

haha yes, I've had a similar experience. One night I decided to let Gypsy run around in her ball. I put her in my parents' room and closed the door, after about 30 minutes I came back. I looked around for her ball and I found it all right, but she wasn't in it!!! I looked around for her, then I saw a little golden blob by the radiator. I went closer and found it was her!, I'm sure the ball was CLOSED. I'm so glad I came when I did, she was heading straight for the radiator and some electric cords!!

When i first got my hamster, he was so tiny he escaped though the bars of the cage, not the door. When i woke up and couldn't find him, i was so scared he went out of the house and got eaten by stray cats. It took me 4 hours to figure that my silly hammy sneaked into my housemate's bedroom, hiding under her computer table.

I once had a hamster appear in my bed exactly the way the guinea pig appeared in that movie with Eddie Murphy.

My male hamster Twiggy used to have a ball that turns into a wheel for his cage. He always used to slam into stuff and the ball stated to get loose, but I just kept tightening it up. One day he was running around in it in my room and the cat was watching him (she loves babysitting the hams, lol). I left and came back a couple minutes later to find the ball had come apart into the two pieces on my floor, but there was no Twiggy. A couple seconds later the cat came walking around the corner of my room with Twiggy chasing behind her!!! It was the cutest thing ever.lol:D
