Hello Kidman,
I am not sure if this method works for you.
But you could try it.
Everytime your cat wants to bite you, or the moment you feel its teeth, use your fingers to give a little slap on its teeth, or a little push on its mouth. The harder the cat bites you, the harder the little push will be. This in turn will tell the cat that it is not right to bite or feel your hands.
Another way, is say a very firm "NO", or a slap on the floor everytime you feel its teeth. Never ignore the bite and move away from your cat, this will make your cat know that it is the only way to keep you a distance from it.
Also i need more information, do you have a cat scratch pole for your cat? If you didn't have one, then it is one of the reasons why it scratches you often.
Do provide lots of toys for your cat to play too. It will eliminate the cat's boredom, instead of the cat letting out its boredom on your hands and legs.
What's your cat's name? Keep us posted.
