Hello!

I have two un-neutered/spayed female bunnies. Recently they started to sniff each other on their sexual organ. Until I neuter/spay them (in about 2 weekss) is it best to put them in separate cages?

Hi mariru10,

Since they are both females, it is fine to put them together, unless fights occur. http://petshub.com/ubb/wink.gif

i would make sure that they are realy 2 females.
I have worked with rabbits for in a pet store and know that it is very difficult to tell the difference between the sexs some times imposable.
I dont mean to worry you.
but a handful of bunnies is alot of worries.

Did you get your bunnies fixed? Were they both girls?

You don't really need to make a big fuss over it if they are both females. Rabbits snif each other to see what sex each other are or just to sort of meet each other.
