Hi, when I bought my blackbear hammie the lady told me she was female but I'm not sure!! She looks like a male because it looks like she has a whole lotta junk in her trunk, if you know what I mean. I aslo tried mating her with a male teddybear hammie but no babies yet, lol.
I'm not trusting the pet stores word because I bought another hammie fro mthem last week that was told was a male and wake up the next day to find that it had babbies. What a suprise that was... :rolleyes:

Just look and see if the hamster has testes on his back end. If the hamster has no testes, then you have a female.
