hey guys,

i've mentioned before my mom had gotten a betta about 2 months ago...

he's doing great! he's swimming around happily and what not

after seeing my moms betta and seeing how beautiful and wonderful they are i decided to get one.

i got a little blue one and i named him Fred.

i also bought the tank and everything he will need, and this cute little light for the top of it, and he's sitting on my beura in my bedroom.

but my question is.....

will he be safe in my room when i turn the air conditioning on?

i really want to keep him in my room so i can watch him when im in there.

but im really concerned for his safetly. :(

he should be alright in air condidtioning. just as long as you don't keep it like the south pole in your room. but if you think that the water is too cold just turn on his light. it will warm up the water some. but i don't think that you could possibly keep it cold enough in your house where it would effect him enough to do anything

He'll probably be fine. Using a lamp, and putting him in a quiet corner is a good idea. Keep him in a relatively draft-free area and he'll be happy. I've had no problem with our air conditioning on, and I've got 4 bettas..yeah, us Canadians and our igloos and all...*rolls eyes* :)
