This is an ad by my stepmother-I love these cats with all of my heart, and I hate to have to lose them.
"I own two male cats, Joe (6) Black Longhair, and Tommy (5) Pale orange Tabby Shorthair, that have not adjusted well to our new puppy. I simply cannot keep them any longer, although it breaks my heart to give them up. My family has had them for 5 years and we are very attached to them. However, I have 6 children and I simply can't keep up with them anymore. They are loving cats, and may be adopted out separately. Both are indoor/outdoor cats, and wonderful lap cats! If you would like to know more, want photos, or are interested, please call or e-mail me. Thank you so much!"

So you get rid of the cats and keep the puppy? I do not understand this.

I probably should have mentioned that two of my sisters have developed allergies to them over the past year or so, and one of of these two sisters has also developed asthma...its just not possible to keep the cats. I really wish it were, they're MY kitties! The decision wasn't mine to make.

And don't worry...we know all about the false security people have when they advertize "free to a good home"--there will be an adoption fee and adopters will be screened.
