My gerbil is thin

One of my gerbils is on the thin side. She eats a lot and she's still very active, she's just thin. It's worrying me quite a bit. Any ideas about what I could feed her to help her put on a little weight, or should I just take her to the vet?

Maybe your gerbil exercises a lot,since you said that shes still very active. Then she eats a lot then exercises again.

She codul be in her (as I call) "gawkey" stage, the teen stange where animals look lankey.

If you want to help her put on the pounds, I suggest a couple more sunflower seeds and some protine, like a dog cookie. I've even given mine a small peice of cheese or cooked egg to.
