I'm looking for a new home for my pet mice. I've taken very good care of them since I got them a few months ago, but I'm working full-time at home and part-time outside the home now, and just don't have time to give them attention like they need any more. I'm asking $50.00 for the mice and their cage, and I'm in the Houston area. I do not have regular access to a vehicle, so you must be willing to meet us in central/southwest Houston to pick them up. These are very sweet mice; they're fairly young since the petstore just got them in when I purchased them. They were all purchased at the same time. The mice are healthy and easy to handle, and have never bitten or shown aggression towards humans. With only a bit more handling they could become extremely tame. For pictures, please go to http://diversions.jinwicked.com/pets/ and scroll down to the mice. Please note that I no longer have the houses in the aquarium in the picture, and everything you will be getting is listed below:
10 gallon glass aquarium, with built-in sliding screen top. It has a hole in the bottom for a reptile-heater/bulb, but that has been sealed up with tape to prevent bedding from falling out the bottom. There is also a tab that sticks out the back where you can put on a lock to prevent it from being accidentally opened (for example, by a cat or a young child.)
4 female fancy mice -- tame, sweet, have been well-fed and well cared for
2 exercise wheels -- the blue-green one in the photograph, and a purple one the exact same size
water bottle and food dish, as seen in the photograph
1 small purple plastic igloo house, almost brand new (not shown). was purchased to replace the wooden houses in there that they finally chewed up.
They have been eating the SueBee rat diet (whole grains, Nutro Natural Choice Lite Dog Food) since that's also what I give my rats, but they will also accept the blocks that you can get at the pet store. They have been kept on aspen bedding and have shown no signs of illness. Any other questions you have about them, email me and I'll be happy to answer. I want them to go to a good home with someone that has more time to take care of them, and if you're looking to start out with mice, this is pretty much getting the mice and aquarium and then getting all the accessories for free. Please email me if you are interested at jin@jinwicked.com, and make sure to include mice somewhere in the subject line.
