Hi I am new to this board and I had a question about my kitten. We got him very young, 6 weeks oldwe think, because his family was going to give him and his brothers and sisters to the shelter. He was really nice and docile for a while and now, (hes about 12 weeks old) he gets really playful ALL the time and will attack our skin! he wont hiss or be mean really, i think hes just playing but he bites HARD. ive tried the spray bottle method our vet told us to do consistantly -but it doesnt work. when im laying in bed hell even go for my face. please tell me what I can do.

Hello XandreaX,

Did you try using Bitter Apple on your cat?

It needs consistent training to keep your cat from biting too hard and let it know that it is suppose to be playing and not biting too hard. Give a little tab on its teeth if it bites too hard again.

Your cat sounds very mischeivous and active. Do give it more toys to play and spend time with. Remember a scratch pole would be excellent for cats. http://petshub.com/ubb/wink.gif
