Birthday!!

My gerbils are turning :birthday:one years:birthday: old on August 19th... any sugestions on what to get them??

What they like - new thick cardboard tubes to explore and gnaw, a new big wooden chew toy, a new wooden hide box, and make some levels for them out of heavy cardboard. Wooden cubes in the corners of their tanks helpes stop them digging in corners.

Be sure the tubes are thick, they kind you can buy in a pet store, or find in hardware or grocery stores (plastic bags or counter top paper would have been attached to it).

Be sure their wheel is working well.

Of course, some treats to eat are nice.

Lots of things you can use and do.

Hey Happy Birthday to your gerbs! My Birthday is the 19th also, I'll be 27 and on the 20th my husband will be 28. We are going to Disney World!! I never thought of a gerbil birthday party with gifts LMAO but I'm sure they will love anything you give them. Mine really like this big thick cardboard tube that I got out of a roll of screen, it is thick and they love it..has taken a while for them to even put a dent in these and I got about 8, 6 inch tubes out of one roll. If you have a screen place around you they throw out tons of these huge rolls all the time. Party on gerbs!!
