shaving cure allergies?

THis is just because i'm curious.
IF you shaved the fur off a cat would it make an allergic person sneeze? Cause i know it's something in the cat's saliva that makes people allergic (when they groom themselves) or their dander....

so .... if you took away the fur... would a person still be allergic....?

In my opinion, I think not. It would not make a difference. I agree with you I have heard that the saliva in a cats mouth when it reaches the fur people begin sneezing. That is why they have allergy medis. I hope someone can tell you the right, right answer..
