HI FOLKS IN TURTLE LAND** I AM NEW AT THIS SITE. WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME TURTLE FRIENDS!! I HAVE 2 TURTLES NOW. I HAVE HAD "TITUS" FOR OVER A YEAR NOW!! HE TRAVELS WITH ME ALL OVER THE USA---I AM A TRAVELING NURSE!! I JUST GOT A NEW BABY TURTLE AND NAMED HIM, "TEA". I HAVE ALL KINDS OF TURTLE STORIES TO TELL** TITUS IS VERY SMART AND DOES TRICKS!!! Over here in Scotland the craze that was is no more...!
Back in the early 90's when the teenage mutant type were all the rage every kid wanted a turtle/terrapin.then there was a big salmonella scare allegedly owing to the amount of terapin owners there was in this country and the turtle/terrapin had had its day.....
Shame....the few I managed to rehome for some people, I thought were a right bunch of wee characters...

I also have a red-eared slider turtle. He is five years old now and his name is Leonardo, this may sound strange but I find turtles cute. They are so peacefull don't you agreea? You should go to the turtle chat room you can find turtle friends there. Bye for now!
