Hi - I'm Ray;

I'm new to this forum :D

I've bred bearded dragons and am now starting to breed my water dragons, also. While cleaning cages, I let my female water dragon run around on the sun porch with my male bearded dragon. I've done this hundreds of times with these two - as I've had them for 9 and 8 years respectively. I caught them mating last year and my water dragon has laid 3 clutches of eggs since. All the eggs had died within a week, except for 2 from the second clutch and 1 from this last clutch. The 2 eggs finally died at about 1 month - to my surprise they both were very vascularized and one had an embryo - very tiny, very dead, but there it was.

I've had this one egg for 6 weeks, now. It's growing, and is definitely pink and and well vascularized.

My question is - Has anybody ever had their bearded and water dragons hybridize successfully???

Did any of the babies survive?
Any pictures?
And if this has happened to anybody - did they reach adulthood?

Sorry this was so long. Thanks for your patience.
Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Ray
