does anyone have a macaw?

Ihave a Blue & Gold Macaw, who I rescued from his previous owners and their 'need to have a big bird 'cause their neighbours had one'.
I have had him now for a year and there is so much trust in Gordon now that we can be seen at work and walking through the town of Ayr, or in fact anywhere i go Gordon is with me...
what is the problems you have with yours and what type is it ?

I have a blue&gold macaw we got him when he was on 3feedings and now he will be 4 months
old tomorrow.I was worried about feeding him real food and making sure he he started on the right track.
Found this great site macaws@parrot.mtncad.com they have been verry helpful.Trapper is his name and he is learning to go outside.
