HELP! Where can I get a temporary shelter for my pet cats while I'm away in London for 6 months. Anyone, out there who can give me a little info. & tips? Anyone, from Singapore?

Hi, did you try the local spca if they can help? Try posting an advertisement to seek help from some cat nanny. Did you try the metta cattery? How about some friends, relatives who can help you? Good luck.

I will advise just like what Garfield said.
There isn't much choices, unless you are willing to spend on pet hotels and perhaps get a discount from them. But i think 6 months is a long period. I would prefer a cat nanny.

Hello Brown,
Thank you for replying to my agony. I have got a cat nannies already and I have been in England for the past 2 months. I got to work here and at the same time I do missed my "babies". I'm trying to get a home for myself eventhough I know the prices of a house is absolute expensive in London but I got to try for my "babies". For the time being they are very happy with their nannies 'cos I have constant connnection with their nannies. Once again, thank you for your help and concern - Love Mariana

Thank you everyone who has replied to my agony-but I've already found my solutions before I left for England. Have already been here for the past 2 months and am very happy here but at the same time I missed my "babies" & they missed their "mommy & daddy", too. That's what their nannies have told me - but I bet they must have given their nannies a very hard time. As time passes, all of them have been able to build a bond with their nannies & I am glad to hear about that. In the mean time, their mommy is working really hard to get a house over here in London no matter how expensive that can be as long as I can bring them over here. Guys...I'm really grateful to hear from all of you who share the same emotions and feelings for animals - Love Mariana

Hello mariana,
So happy that the cats have nannies already.
Are you staying at London for good? Or are you returning to Singapore?

Hey Brown,
Nice to hear from you. My work permit is for 2 years. I just started work for the last 2 months. I might be staying here a bit longer...it all really depends how is going to work for me over here. I'm praying everything is going to be going just as I planned. How is Singapore? Any recession? America's economy is not doing that well & I guess that Singapore will be slightly affected. Is Mark & Spencer there closing? M&S here are not making much profit. Lots of their employees are asked to leave so is in America. Anyway, nice to really hear from someone of my hometown - Mariana
