Hi, my name is Pepper. A big hello to everyone out there. I am the proud owner of "Bandit"- the Guinness book record holder. I have him since he was 4 weeks old. He will soon be 7 years old. He is never in a cage, I don't believe in keeping animals in a cage ( only small rodents like mice or rats). If ya want to chat with me, feel free to e-mail me.

Hello Pepper,
You have a raccoon? I think he must be really cute! Do you have a picture of him? Since he is never in a cage, how and where do you keep him?
Love to hear from you soon.

To Brown and Pluto
I would be glad to send you a picture of Bandit and tell you more about him, but I need your e-mail to do that. I don't know how to do that from this site. I'm new to this. You can visit my web sites. I am not nearly done with them yet but you can see what I have so far. www.bandit544.homestead.com (http://www.bandit544.homestead.com) or www.geocities.com/peppersbigbandit/bandit_the_raccoon.htm (http://www.geocities.com/peppersbigbandit/bandit_the_raccoon.htm)

Hello Pepper!
I am impressed with your raccoon. He is really big in size and seems really nice to carry and hug. http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

Bandit is very cute and huggable. This past Saturday, Bandit broke the worlds record with Guinness book for the third time.

I really would like to see a coon bigger than mine. Bandit broke his own record for being the largest of any raccoons in the world. He now weights 64.9 pounds. E-mail me a picture of one bigger than Bandit o.k.

He's a pretty darn cute 'coon! I am curious about how you keep him too without a cage. When we had a raccoon, she was into everything, and not housetrained, which was a REAL problem. She'd try and scale your leg to get at what you were eating, and unfortunately, my brother roughed her up and made her somewhat aggressive (I still have scars on the back of my head), but I didn't fault her for it (I DID bite her back tho, and after that we got along better again).
Do you get him immunized? Is he neutered? How did you handle housetraining, and if he isn't neutered, does he get aggressive in the spring?
My raccoon (she became mine after my brother lost interest in cleaning up feces and paying for her food) had a cage to keep her safe from cars and dogs, but eventually she got out while I was gone (my brother, again...) and disappeared. I hoped that she was okay, I'd taken her fishing and foraging all summer hoping she'd learn neccessary skills.
I don't know if she ever did, but two years later a female racoon showed up at the back door in broad daylight with her three babies in tow, looking expectant. I told her "Wait here!" and ran into the house and threw everything I could find in the refrigerator into a dish, and took it out. Quite unconcerned about my presence, she and her little ones chowed down and had a good feed, before trundling back into the woods.
Was it Charlie come back to show me her family? I can't be sure, but I'd like to think so.

He is soooooo Cute,
I really envy you for having something so wild and natural. The closest I get is having them in my yard, well until the dog ran them off.
Hope to see pics on here of him real soon.

I've been to your site. Too a couple of pictures with bandit and the cashews. Wanted to see if I could do an animation for you, but it didn't work. Did take the background out of two though, if you'd like I can e-mail them to you.
I promise they won't go anywhere else. I just like having fun with pictures. He is so adorable even really close up.
Thanks
Nightmare
PS Been looking for some "coon" graphics, but can't find any. Am trying one of my own, but that is going to take alot of time. Using Bandit as a model.

Dear Pepper;
I am so glad you don't mind my using Bandit as a model. Remember I am new at this art thing and the is a .gif image so it distorted some when I saved it. I will get it cleaned up.
This is a work in progress, and you comments and critisism are welcome.

Hi Pepper,
I've just adopted a 7-10 week old raccoon. I am concerned about fleas. The web site that gave the most information said not to use flea "dots" or sprays. She runs through the backyard with me, but I bring her indoors while I'm at work during the day. Any suggestions on flea control?

Umm, no offense but bringing up old forums is sorta stupid.. Half of the people then barely ever stayed on Petshub.
