new dwarfs

I wanted either a darf hamster or a syrian. I decided to get 2 syrians (they are in dif cages now) but i decided today to also get two dwarfs (in a dif cage than the syrians). A breeder in my area said he had a young batch that were pretty nice. I got them a habitrial safari cage, so far i am pretty happy with it. But my question is, one of the females, casper, is very friendly. She is eager to be picked up and very affectionate. The other female, koda, still seems kind nervous. I know they are new and just getting used to their enviorment, but i have heard handling them when they ar young improves their mood. I was wondering if their was a good way to get koda to be more friendly, or if its just something that come with time.
