does anybody know how much it cost to buy health insurance for a GP per month or per year? :confused:

The place I looked at for my rats was $9/month for a small animal, with like a dollar off discount for multiple animals. after that, any vet bill over $50.00 you get 90% of back, which wasn't that good for the rats because the only thing that would cost over $50 would be a tumor removal. I'm actually considering it for my iguana, but I want to talk it over with our vet.

baba... i came up with the same estimate as thebelovedtree. $9 per animal. i went to [url]www.petinsurance.com. hope this helps. if not i would try your local vet. let me know how you make out...sounds like a good idea! i have 2 pigs, 1 rabbit, and 6 cats!

Baba, not sure if you know this, but the Pets Hub Title changes as your post total increases. I am pretty sure it changes every 100 posts.

goku i didn't mean anything bad...i'm just saying that pets lover meaning giving you a compliment because you have a lot of pets....and willing to take care of them...we all are pets lovers that's why we own a pet or more...

i went to the site that you gave me and sign up....but they said that i have to own the pets for 6 months until i can buy the insurance...so i guess i have to wait

i am so sorry baba. as i told wheels in a different thread, i was quite miserable last night and i shouldn't have even been posting with my nasty attitude. i am sorry...and thank you. i am a pets lover. i grew up on a farm and one day will have one of my own!

I thought it was you had to own them for 60 days or more to get the insurance. For my sugar glider it would be $12 a month. Do you guys think a sugar glider would need insurance?

i am not even sure what a sugar glider is? i have tried searching on the internet, but can't seem to come up with any good pictures or descriptions!! is it like squirrel?
