What kind of animals do you have?

I guess I consider my pond animals pets too since I feed them. {things like soft shell turtles, red catfish, brim, two baby otters, and two female mallards.} But since I don't get to interact with them much I don't think of them as pets.

I just found this forum a couple days ago. I've just taken in two guinea pigs whose breeder was rezoned and forced to downsize. One of them is apparently pregnant! Then, last night, driving down the highway, I found a domestic rabbit hopping down the road and stopped to pick it up. It let me pet it, then pick it up, so maybe I have a rabbit now too....(mild shrieking!!)

At present, the head-count around here is;
4 horses/1 pony of my own, 1 I am caretaking (Albert, Gabby, Roxy, Ostara, Rhiannon, & Epona)
1 Eastern Box turtle (Jenny)
1 African Dwarf Frogs (Pu & Pu Deux)
2(+) Guinea Pigs (Zinger & Ruby)
1 spotted rabbit, sex unknown...

I just lost my 16 year old West Highland Terrier last month (Elf), and released a rescued Leopard Frog. I'll eventually get another terrier, be it a Westie or a Cairn, or whatever, but not just yet.

I came to this site looking for info on taking care of the cavys, and now on what to do with the rabbit too, if I can't find out who it belongs to (altho it may have been dumped). The only person in that area with a rabbit said it wasn't his.

I had a horse and a parrot and a bunnie, the bird was way to loud if I wasn't holdin him so I gave him to a bird holder he's doing great but I miss him. the horse is a sad story I prefer not to speak about and the bunnie I could not let out of his cage as much as I would have liked so now a family of six have her.
Anyways that is and was my pet family!

I often feel that I've left someone out when I list them and this time is no exception, theres just so many of them to try and remember.
I'm sure that if there is a problem within these pages that is pet related i will either have suffered it before you or i will
share it with you!

Amazing what the Internet can do. It bring people closer, communication with people from all parts of Earth has never been this easier.
