poisen ivy??

Is it possiable for baby russian dwarf hammies to get poisen ivy from me??? I have it on my arms and my hammy had babies and i want to hold them but i dont want to touch them baceause i dont want them to get sick :( . PLEASE HELP. :( :(

It might. I wouldn't touch them without rubber gloves on, or thin latex gloves you can get in a pharmacy.
