I posted a Thread to everyone.Thanking all of you for your support. I just noticed that my thread has been closed, and I cannot understand why. If you read it, it is not degrading or putting anyone down, it is just a sincere Thank you post. Can someone tell me why they would close this thread please! Thank you!!

wow i really dont know why they would do that. the post told the truth about how sad it is when u lose something -sry-. I am 14 yrs old and i still get upset when i lose my own hammies. I feel deeply for ur children i hope they feel a little better. AS i said i really dont understand y they would do that. Thanks for posting that because it really is the truth!!!!!

It had nothing to do with you. I sent you an e-mail about it; if you did not get it send me one and I will tell you.

Always remember to tell your children, these animals have short lives, but we can make them happy and healthy lives, and with luck, love, and good care, longer lives.

There is only so much we can do despite heroic efforts regarding care and vets. But in my case the hole caused by a loss can always be filled by rescuing one from a shelter. :) And I have done that more than once.

I hope your children will get at least one more pet soon.

Can't we all know why the thread was closed? Is it a secret? I can't see anything on the comunity guidelines that would seem to fit.

I'm sorry you suffered such a loss, but time is the best healer :) and children especially bounce back relatively quickly, my best advice is to remember the good times and not dwell on the loss at the end :)

I guess the thread was closed because of some people's rude and sadistic behavior. But the thing is It wasnt this thread that they were being ill minded with it was the one before this about when my hamster passed, I had some person telling me how I was nuts and I should have killed my hamster with pliers the way they do ect.ect. So Zouave and some others reported this person and some others , and they banned them. As far as your reply to me I would like to say Thankyou. Yes my children have bounced back relativly quickly, yet when it all took place and there hammie passed it was an emotional time for all of us. A parent does not like to see their children hurt at all. I loved our little hammie very much so dont get me wrong, but I understand his passing, my kids dont, That is why I was even more so bothered over his passing, I knew what it would do to my children and I couldnt do anything to control that.But as I said they have accepted it now, and are much better with it, yes they still talk about him, and everyday my 7 yr old goes out to where we buried him and takes care of his spot, but they dont question the why's anymore.
