Say hi to new hammy!!!

bought him a few days ago. i named him pooky. and i don't have pictures, sorry, we don't have a digicam. anyway, i can pet him without him flinching and i can hold my hand gently over him without him flinching but i haven't been able to entice him onto my hand, and i don't want to pick him up against his will...i tried fruits holding fruits in front of him, and he nibbled it, but he got a little diarhea(sp?) from it, so i didn't want to try luring him to my hand with fruits. i might try again after there are no more traces of diarhea, soo...well, i guess that's all i wanted to say. he's real cute, and i think he's a few months old. he's healthy and everything. by the way, i'm sure that he doesn't have wet tail because there aren't any other symptoms of it, so i think he just got a little diarhea from the pieces apple and grape i tried giving him.

yeah, he's a syrian. i just cleaned his cage, and MAN!!! what a time-hogger(yeah, i make up words :p)...but it was worth it, because the tank didn't smell and pooky looked so cute in the nice, cleaen bedding!! but my room has been cold lately and i'm working on removing the air-conditioner(the ones that you stick into the window, not coming thru a vent) and maybe putting a heater in, so pooky's been sleeping a lot. at least, i think that's the reason why. do you think he's ok?

i dunno. i was looking at babynmaes.com, and searching for something with the name cute. two names came up: dolly and pooky. i decided to go with pooky. yeah, it's not original. :P
